User Interface Mockup for Web-based application
Requestor: fatherstime
Brief: User Interface design needed for web application at fatherstime.com. To view the application visit http://fatherstime.com and login as "demo" user with password "level".
Click the Personal icon on the left and click the name "Johnny" to view his record.
In the page that opens you will be on the Demographics tab. Click the View tab to see the current UI for viewing all of the person's data.
We need this whole screen area designed in a nice user interface (preferably with tabs, but other options will be considered). Emphasis on usability and simple workflow for viewing and editing data.
Mockup needs to follow the theme and color schemes already existing at fatherstime.com.
Possible followup work designing the actual HTML and Javascript if your mockup is accepted.
Deliverables: PNG mockup for this first stage. Final deliverables when accepted will be Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Interested in: Follow site design colors and themes present already
Not interested in: Do not want a design that requires too many clicks by the user to get to viewing the data. So we need a creative approach to the various categories of data we are presenting while keeping it user friendly and simple.
design808: Thank you fatherstime.. I presume for customers ease you want to keep the form boxes to fill in /edit but only stylished nicer ? That can be achieve by adding css and using background pictures for heading tabels for ex. So your are for the content part only in need of nicer backgrounds for the boxes and html wise "justified" so they are all the same size? Or do you want to go away from the boxes?
fatherstime: I like the concept you have started and this design would let us choose to use the concept on the left or right side. Also, it may not have been clear from the description, but in addition to the navigation element, we would like an alternative design to the actual content/editing boxes themselves. This is where we have the boxes labeled Name/Address, Section 1, Section 2, etc.
If you could update your mockup to show a better styling of the content boxes as well that would be great.

fatherstime: @design808: All the tabs need to be included in the mockup. Keep in mind, however, that you do not need to keep the present tabs design as part of the mockup. We're looking for creative ideas on how to present this data. Presently we have it as tabs and sub-tabs, but there might be better ways to do it. So you could have a mockup that uses tabs in a better fashion than we presently have, but a good design might end up with some alternative navigational structure. Whatever design is used for the top tabs (Demographi, View, REports, Notes, Photos) would likely also be duplicated in the sub tabs under View (General, Medical, etc).

sorry to ask for, but do you need a mockup only for the tab "view" and underlaying categories
(basic,general,medical..) or do you wish a mockup for all tabs under "Personal Data"
(Demographic.view.reports.notes.photos)?

fatherstime: To clarify the preferred size, 600x500 is the size of the content area within the site, not the size of the entire site. So your mockup needs to only fit the content area between the header, footer and sidebars.
