U vraagt me het uitwerken van een icoon in relatie met een niet goedgekeurde naam.
Op mijn beurt vroeg ik dan dit extra onbezoldigd werk uit te stellen tot op het moment dat u me kan zeggen dat u idd efectief voor
de naam gaat, heeft dus niets te doen met "er geen tijd in willen steken", maar alles met gezond verstand.
Ik begrijp tenvolle dat het kiezen van een naam moeilijk is en tijd vraagt, maar als u hier zegt dat u nu niet kan bepalen
of een ingezonden naam(+logo) ok is, dan schiet mijns inziens deze opdracht zijn doel voorbij.
Waarom houdt u eerst geen opdracht voor het vinden van een naam? En daarna de logo-opdracht?
Dit zal zowel voor u als voor ons het veel gemakkelijker maken.

ikke: aan corleone, oke voor mij geen probleem, het is ieder zijn keuze natuurlijk, maar ik begrijp dan niet dat jullie meedoen aan deze opdracht als jullie er geen tijd in willen steken. Uit 3 inzendingen kan je toch moeilijk een naam kiezen? Ik ben niet van plan zomaar een naam te kiezen. Uw opgegeven naam is oke, maar u begrijpt ook dat ik nu niet kan bepalen of het oke is.

er zijn heel veel verschillende logos die mooi zijn, maar ze moeten hip zijn en van deze tijd natuurlijk, ik zou zeggen hou niet te veel rekening met de kleren die ik heb opgegeven. Doe je eigen ding.
Joenniej: Duidelijk... Een naam voor een bedrijf verzinnen valt niet mee.
Heb je zelf bepaalde ideeën die van pas kunnen komen? Of waar het ontwerp aan gerelateerd moet worden?
Ik hoor het graag
ikke: belgium Gifts vind ik geen optie, daar het lijkt of we alleen belgische geschenken zouden aanbieden en dat is niet zo. Verder vind ik het design veel te simpel.

your idea was to put some earth colors in it, What are the colors that you prefer? For example; green or blue?
Any other suggestions that may help me for your logo? The name of the company, on the other hand, is no problem.

ikke: We are not getting any further like this. The assignment was to find a name and logo for my shop. If you can't find one, it is oke for me. It is not my assignment to choose one, because then I wouldn't put my asignment here. You have my expaination. I can't say more.
A name suitable for everybody, that is not existing, is easy to find, .... I already put my comment.

I think it is better to choose a name like: Giftshop, Giftlounge, Giftcorner, ... because there is gift in the name.
Because there a already a lot of onlineshops who sell gifts, I think people will order a gift in an onlineshop that is lokated in their country.
So I think we will have at first belgian clients, and after a little time international (Netherlands, France, Germany, ...)

design808: Thanks for your feedback. If you don't mind i need one more clarification:
you state "easy to find on google"
What is your goal here? People who knows allready your name /shop - so in this case: an easy name to type and remember ?
.... Or people who don't know your shop and are googling to find a onlineshop for decoration gifts?
In the first case : you can go for any beautiful name you like as it doesn't have to trigger any keyword (gift /decoration/shop).. It even don't have to exist so "multilangual"
In second case : best to incorporate a keyword in your name (for ex.."shop-a-gift.com :-)), and ask for yourself who will be your main clientele, (only belgium or international?) because this will determine in which language your name has to be to trigger the google keywords (for ex.: international clientele: best in english: gift - shop - decoration etc..).

design808: Hi there, if I may suggest something: perhaps it's better to have first a contest for your name, and afterwards a new one for your logo. Will be much easier for everybody of us- I've been brainstorming about a name, but almost everything with "gift" "giftshop" "deco" "deko" is being taken :-).. I'll upload a few as a "design" that are not being taken yet..--this way you'll be sure that no one in the meantime will take it.

ikke: The name can't be used already, because we have to make a site (.be, .com, .eu) also, so the name is very important
ikke: Every color is oke. For decoration I would choose colors of the earth, but I don't know if that is oke for gifts. Maybe a color that goes with everything. When customers see the logo they have to say "wow" and never forget it.
