Fred is a FRont-EnD for Alfresco. Alfresco is a zero-client ECM/DMS server application managing content in a centralised way. XeniT developed Fred to bring the central ECM solution closer to the end user. The user can executes its daily tasks faster and easier and will find back information on the server much faster. As such the server will contain more valuable information and the user will have the tendency to work more with the central ECM/DMS.

Company description: Our current web site (www.xenit.eu ) is not up to date. A new design is already available but not yet on line.
XeniT is active in the domain of document management. We are a system integrator which provides services (consultancy, integration, …) exclusively on the Alfresco platform.

Alfresco is the Enterprise Content Management platform that receives a lot of attention in the market.
XeniT is also a Technology partner, developing add-ons to the Alfresco platform enriching the Alfresco eco system. As such we have developed Fred, a new Front End for Alfresco.
Target customer: Corporate clients, all current Alfresco customers (+900). We assume that Community Customers will also show interest in the product. Adminstrations as well as Private sector, SME as well as large corporate customers. North America and Europe take the lead but other continents are taking up.

Peter Morel: Nu is het even uitzoeken hoe we hier verder moeten. Dit is de eerste keer voor ons.
Peter Morel: Dit is dan het logo. proficiat met het geleverde werk.
Peter Morel: Als je de letter kleur variaten kunt geven zijn we geloof ik rond.
Peter Morel: # 36, 39, 43 en 44 is de richting waarin we willen werken. Kleurencombinaties zijn reeds gecommuniceerd; Dus niets nieuws toevoegen. Manneke is zowel in rood (hoofdzakelijk) als in wit bruikbaar. Kunnen dit dus gebruiken voor verschillende omgevingen. Icoontjes van # 41 lijken mij het meest geschikt.

Peter Morel: We selected this desinger because of the graphical elements proposed that fitted the best with the subject, our company, the link to Alfresco, the variations one can created with the individual components and the multiple media we want to use the logo.
Peter Morel: We have just reviewed the full series with 8 people and came to the decision to continue with one designer: logolobo85. Congratualtions.

Peter Morel: Due to technical issues, I was not able to get the final comment from my team on the last designs >#21. We will review the logo's on Monday and take a final selection. Any new suggestios or variants are still welcome.
Peter Morel: Nice. But it looses a bit the link to Alfresco leaves. Would you be able to mix both. The head somewhat more in the front but the two other 'leaves' still on the full loge. Then the icon with the full person with three leaves.

Peter Morel: Positive is that the three designs provided are in the same style and can be used for different media. Continue to experiment in with colors.
Peter Morel: Favorite of one person. Personaly I believe it is to cold, distance.
Peter Morel: Different people selected multiple favorites. I will wait to give some scores on the logo's. I will provide individual comments per logo.

I am requesting feedbck from a team of 8 people. You can imagine that it is hard to bring it to one line as the reaction vary strongly. I will provide comments to some of the design to bring them closer to what we are looking for. This does not mean that logo not getting any comments are not good. They might be close to perfect from the beginning.
Important is that the full or part of the logo is very recognisable on a 16x16 icom format. If you make a logo, please add what you suggest to use in the 16x16 format and add it to the design.
